KOSMIC EQUIPMENT STAND

The impact of vibration and resonance on sound quality can be profound. The resulting distortion is one of the primary reasons why most enthusiasts never realize the performance capability of the equipment they own.

The KOSMIC Equipment Stand utilizes technology from Genesis Advanced Technologies. The technology required for designing equipment stands is surprisingly similar to designing state-of-the-art loudspeakers. The objective of the stand is to rigidly support equipment and isolate one component from another by structurally sinking, absorbing, and damping vibrations.

Features

• Components on the stand are decoupled from each other. So the equipment does not cross-contaminate each other.

• High molecular weight cell-cast acrylic is utilized for its superior anti-resonant and self-damping properties. This is easily illustrated, as a sheet of metal or glass, when struck, will "ring" for several seconds, whereas acrylic will not.

• The shelves are 25" wide x 17" deep x 1" thick clear acrylic and the posts are 2" diameter black acrylic. With 20.5" clear width between the posts.

• The KOSMIC Equipment Stand is a modular design. You start with the Base shelf and add additional shelves as required. Each additional shelf includes four posts and attaches to the top of the Base unit. Standard post lengths are available in 1" increments from 6" to 12".

• The 3.5" minimum height Base shelf can be used for a single piece of equipment or as an amp stand. The Base shelf includes high quality adjustable height spikes made from solid stainless steel and include stainless steel spike discs.

• Additional shelves can be added over time if your system needs change.
