LUMIN S1 adds DSD128 5.6MHz support by utilizing 4 ESS SABRE32 Reference DAC chips to deliver a total of 16 DAC’s per channel in parallel.

While LUMIN S1 brings greater resolution and a more dynamic sound, no stone has been left unturned to ensure that the characteristic LUMIN musicality is delivered. This has involved tuning every part of the system to complement these new DAC chips, including revising the clocking system and enhancing the external dual-toroid transformer power supply.

From mainstream formats FLAC and Apple Lossless (ALAC) through native DSD (SACD files), up to the highest resolution 384kHz, 32bit Studio Masters (DXD) and DSD128 5.6MHz.

Supports Gapless Playback, On-device Playlists, TIDAL and Internet Radio, and UPnP AV for maximum compatibility.

No Compromise
The highest-grade matching components, circuit design and spacious layout includes true balanced audio outputs and an external toroidal power supply.

A superbly intuitive, attractive and uniquely designed iPad app makes music browsing and selection a pleasure for everyone.

Precision-machined from a solid block of aluminum using the finest materials, LUMIN deserves a place at the top of any audiophile's hi-fi.

"The small signs or characteristics which contribute to a kind of sonic fingerprint seemed to my ears completely absent with the Lumīn S1. Its soundstaging and imaging capabilities surpass anything I have heard in the digital domain. At the same time the Lumīn S1 delivers an enormously appealing and involving musical presentation which will become my new reference as a still affordable digital front-end to consequently demand a Blue Moon award."
