Oyaide connectors feature
highly polished
contacts for exceptional performance. Deoxidized Phosphor Bronze is
used as the base metal for its hardness, spring-strength and
conductivity. The contact surfaces are polished twice and then
plated with SILVER or PLATINUM and then
polished twice again. A final plating of RHODIUM or
PALLADIUM is
applied and polished twice again. Each contact surface has been
polished six times!
The blades are produced by precision machining a phosphor bronze
plate instead of the more common inaccurate press working method.
