PA-02 TX Balanced

Einstein would have been impressed by the PA-02 cable for its elegant simplicity while maximizing performance and value. The structure of the PA-02 cable is a traditional balanced type shielded wire for audio and professional applications.

The cable is constructed using PCOCC-A wire developed by Furukawa Electric using advanced heat control and extrusion technology. Moreover, the outer jacket utilizes a new material (Halogen-free-sheath) developed by Furukawa Electric. Bass is reproduced without loss during play back by reducing the influence of vibration and resonance. The PA-02 TX balanced interconnect utilizes a high quality SILVER plated XLR plug by Switchcraft.

PCOCC-A

This is an ultra pure single crystal copper wire originally developed by Professor Ohno. This special wire results in an extremely low level of signal disturbance and loss factor due to the lack of crystalline boundaries in the signal path. A highly controlled heating and cooling annealing process and improved surface management create a mirror finish. It is now called PCOCC-A and it is the epitome of Japanese craftsmanship.

OUTER JACKET

The outer jacket consists of a Halogen-free sheath material developed by Furukawa Electric. The low dielectric jacket enables pure signal transmission with high vibration resistance. The resonance control results in excellent bass performance.

STRUCTURE/INSULATOR

The structure of PA-02 is a traditional balanced type shielded wire. The conductor's structure is reversing concentric lay structure. It is the high density between a wire and stranding to evenness, and a random space is excluded. As a result, the sound didn't have a distortion. The insulator used the foam polypropylene with a low dielectric constant. The transmission loss by a low electrostatic capacity decreases.

What is more, The impedance was set to 120Ω. It can be used for not only the analogue signal but also digital (AES/EBU) signal. An outer shield uses same PCOCC-A as the conductor.

HIGH VALUE

The combination of high quality materials, construction and performance are nonexistent at this price point. These cables consistently outperform cables at several times the cost.
